Membership and Support
The Kelowna Medical Society has been a non-profit organization for physicians, medical students, and their families for over 100 years. Our goal is to bring the medical community together through social, cultural, and educational events that strengthen local connections.
Membership is open to all physicians, residents, and medical students who provide a current email address.
While there are no formal membership dues, your support helps us continue offering events and initiatives for Kelowna’s medical community.
Over the years, KMS has hosted a variety of events such as:
- Educational workshops and wellness weekends
- Annual golf tournaments and family celebrations
- Social gatherings including Halloween parties, holiday brunches, and cultural galas
- Support for local initiatives and student welcome events
These activities are organized by our dedicated volunteers — physicians and family members who meet a few times each year to plan and support KMS programs. If you’re interested in helping out, please check the Volunteer option when submitting your membership form.
Your time and contributions help keep the KMS community thriving.
Sincerely,
Dr. Bernie Lewke – KMS President
Dr. Roberto Leon – KMS EL Presidente
Roger Mace KMS, Secretary & Treasurer
